The luxurious Riviera on Vaal Country Club, South Africa, is located on the banks of the Vaal River in Gauteng. It is located a mere 45 minutes drive from Johannesburg and offers both its valuable members and guests an array of sporting facilities. The course is an 18-hole par 72 with a course rating of 71 for men and 71 for women. A flood-lit 9-hole par 3 Pitch and Putt course lies next to the 18th hole.
Taking in sweeping views of the Vaal River from the historic club house at sunset, designed by the legendary Herbert Baker, is an experience to remember. Coupled with this is the warm hospitality and friendliness of the people of the Vaal Triangle, as well as our highly trained staff who cater to your every need. The golf course itself boasts bent grass greens with Cynodan / Kikuya fairways and tees which are currently being upgraded without disruption to play. There are many different and unusual holes where the added feature of water attractions come into play. |
